We removed the suspended ceiling and started removing the walls in the
laundry room side of the basement.
Here is another view after doing some painting, plumbing, and getting
the conduit ready. I'll be using that to run wire behind the furnace
since it is not easy to run anything through the joists with all the
air ducts in the way.
Here's a nice mess of telephone wire. I guess it is no surprise that
the previous owners wanted this stuff hidden behind a dropped ceiling,
but my plan is to clean it up instead of just hiding it.
