We took a break from our house reconstruction and helped a group of
about 20 people build a house in Piedras Negras Mexico.
The house is about 20x20 feet and has three rooms, four windows, and
two doors. It's very simple construction, just dry stacked cinder
block with some concrete and rebar in the corners, around the window
and door openings, and around the top, plus a little stucco to hold
things together. It takes 3-1/2 days to build.
